Our Home Base for a Week of Adventures
We came to relax and enjoy some family time, with day trips to the Outer Banks lighthouses, Virginia Beach, Nauticus (touring the USS Wisconsin and a boat tour of the VA harbor), and Colonial Williamsburg. Highly recommend A1 Seafood, Brown Dog Ice Cream, and Drizzle for olive oils. Take time to enjoy the beach, downtown Cape Charles, and all the cute shops!
The Perfect Sister Trip
A perfect sister trip! We explored the cute town, went down to Kiptopeke beach to collect seashells, and spent quality time together. So grateful to have been invited — thank you very much!
A Beautiful Setting for Time Together
We explored the town, shopped, and got coffee at the Coffee House (great coffee!). We relaxed on the beach and had such a great time together — the beautiful setting and lovely home made it even more special. A few favorites: E&O Restaurant, Central Park, the Monroe Avenue walk to the beach, and the Sunset Trail to the beach (great for shells). Thank you for hosting us, introducing us to the town, and providing all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The house is so clean, well stocked, and the beds are so comfortable!
Worth the Drive!
We had a wonderful weekend getaway! We saw the cute town of Cape Charles, visited Kiptopeke State Park, walked on the beach, and went on the trails. Don't miss Brown Dog Ice Cream and the Kiptopeke State Park trails. The drive was very worth it and so much fun. I ♥ Cape Charles!
